Library has an advisory Committee whose composition is below:

To provide general direction to the Library
  a To review, rewrite and approve library procurement policy
  a To negotiate and approve subscriptions to online databases (e-journals, Books and data sets)
  a To formulate the policy for library use and procedure to be framed
  a To review the functioning of the library with regards to its support to the academic programmes of the University.
  a To outline the library collection development policy as and when required, for its implementation.
  a To monitor and evaluate, from time to time, trends and developments in  information  technologies,  networking,  library  automation,  library cooperation etc., and to direct the library in their adoption.
  a To  formulate  action  plan  for  the  development  of  library  human resource, infrastructure, facilities, products and services.
  a Any other function as assigned by the higher authorities
  a The LAC would meet at least once in six months to review the library affairs
  a The committee shall be reconstituted once in three years
  a Rationalised budget allocation to individual departments.
  a Streamlining procedures for purchase of books and e-resources
  a Measures to minimize loss of books and journals
  a Subscription to online journals accessibility to all students and Faculty.
  a Training to research scholars on use of e resources
  a Inter library loan facility
  a Dissemination of benefits of membership to INFLIBNET to the department
